Welcome to our REC Foundation Engage Robotics Middle School SKILLS ONLY EVENT at Madison Central High School!

All teams must pass robot inspection before participating in Solo Matches. Each team will have three (3) Solo Driving Matches and three (3) Solo Coding Matches. Your highest score from each category will be combined to determine your overall solo match score. The team with the highest combined Solo score will be recognized as the Solo Match Champion. There will be no judging or alliance matches at this event.

  • The highest Driving Solo Match score and highest Coding Solo Match score will be combined to determine each team's overall Solo Match score.

  • Please be ready when your team is called so all teams have the opportunity to complete their Solo Match attempts.

  • Awards will not be presented at this event. Scores will be submitted to the REC Foundation and will count toward the official Solo Match rankings.

Emergency information

The safety of all participants, coaches, volunteers, and spectators is our highest priority. In the event of severe weather, an emergency, or any situation that impacts the schedule or operation of the competition, the EP will communicate important updates directly to the coaches using the contact information provided during team registration. Coaches will be responsible for promptly sharing any updates with their team members and parents.

Refund policy

Registration fees are non-refundable.

Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled by the Event Partner. No refunds will be provided for team withdrawals, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, weather-related travel decisions made by individual teams, or any other circumstances outside the control of the Event Partner.
