Welcome to the PACIFICA@Santa Monica Bay ADC Tournament in beautiful Santa Monica, CA located just a few blocks from the world-famous Santa Monica Pier and the official West-Coast terminus for the ole Route 66.  Here are the pertinent details for teams to prepare for this West Regional Qualifying event.

Date: Saturday October 17, 2026

Tournament type: Blended (both Middle School and High School teams)

Team capacity: 12 (twelve) maximum (maximum of two per school/organization).  If your school/organization wants to register more than two teams, those teams will be placed on the wait list and moved to active list as space available. 

Registration and payment: Registration fee is $50 per team.  Paid registration deadline is two weeks before event (i.e. Saturday October 3, 2026).  If registration payment not received by this deadline, the team will be placed on wait list. 

Location: Pacifica Christian High School, 1730 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90403 (at the intersection of Wilshire Blvd, and 18th Street in Los Angeles County)

Parking: Parking lot located on the east side of 18th Street, across from our 18th St school entrance.  Pay using the posted QR code.  Street parking is not recommended as the posted parking hours are restrictive, and parking meter patrols are ready to issue parking tickets.

Team Notebooks: only digital submissions of notebooks are accepted.  The notebook submission deadline is midnight on Monday October 12, 2026.  This pre-tournament deadline allows the judges to preview all the team notebooks prior to the day of the Tournament.

7:30 am: Team check-in and drone check-in

8:00 am: Skills field open for both Pilot and Autonomous Missions

10:00 am: Teamwork Alliance field open for round-robin matches

11:55 am: Pilot Missions closed

Noon: lunch

1:00 pm: Autonomous Mission and Teamwork Alliance field open

1:30 pm: Autonomous Mission closed

2:30 pm: Teamwork Alliance selection and Final Rounds begin

4:00 pm: Award Ceremony

4:30 pm: Closing
