General information

This league is sponsored by the San Joaquin County Office of Education.  All middle school and high school robotics teams from San Joaquin County are welcome to join the League.  If we have space available after accommodating all San Joaquin County teams, we will accept teams from outside San Joaquin County. Please contact the Event Partner, Randy Moehnke, at rmoehnke57@gmail.com, if you are interested in the league but are outside San Joaquin County.

If your team is not approved to join this league and you register, your team will be removed and may forfeit the event registration fees.

We have two Delta Leagues meeting on the same dates: an AM league and a PM league.  The AM league meets in the mornings, 8:00 am – Noon.  The PM league meets in the afternoons, 12:30-4:30 pm.  This is the AM league - if you want the PM league, go to that league's RECF Events listing.

All league meets are on Saturdays, on the following dates: 9/12/2026, 10/17/2026, 11/14/2026, 12/5/2026, 1/9/2027, and 2/6/2027.

Scrimmage: The first meet on 9/12 is a practice session - bring whatever robot you have and try it out on the field in Practice Matches.  If you don't have a robot yet, come watch others and get ideas.  This meet will run from 8:30-11:30 am for the AM league, and 12:00-3:00 pm for the PM league.

Ranking Meets: The meets on 10/17, 11/14, 12/5, and 1/9 are for Alliance Matches.  Match results will go into the League Rankings, which will be cumulative over all four meets.  To allow more teams to play in the league, each team will play in 3 ranking meets according to one of these schedules:
Schedule A: 10/17, 11/14, 12/5
Schedule B: 10/17, 11/14, 1/9
Schedule C: 10/17, 12/5, 1/9
Schedule D: 11/14, 12/5, 1/9
6 teams will be assigned to each schedule, first come, first served.  You will select your team's schedule when you register.

League Finals: The meet on 2/6 is for Solo Matches, Judging, Alliance Selection and the Elimination Bracket.  Awards will be given at the end of this meet.

All student participants and student visitors to a league meet must have submitted a complete Fablab Permission Form before entry to the meet.  The form covers all meets and just needs to be submitted once at the first meet the student attends.

  1. Teams must always be accompanied by the team Advisor or a designated adult at any League event.
  2. Teams will check within 45 minutes of the doors opening. Teams must contact the Event Partner if they are running late or they will be left out of the match schedule for that meet.  Teams will stay for the whole event once checked in.
  3. The League is a friendly competition environment, and teams are encouraged to help other teams be successful.
