Highland Prep West Robotics Qualifier

Welcome to Highland Prep West's Qualifier!

This will be a fun-filled event with good competition from around the Phoenix area! Doors will open for registration at 7:00 am on Saturday.  This is a qualifying event for the Arizona RECF Achieve State Championship.  Teams are expected to submit a physical notebook the morning of the tournament.

This is an AIA member team only tournament.

It is highly advised that teams either bring their lunch or have someone go get their lunches as there are many food places nearby.  We will start qualification matches sharply at the indicated time on the agenda. With the start - teams MUST be at the fields to get to participate or get points for showing up.

There are no practice fields. As solo matches start, teams may run up to 3 of any coding or driver solos before they have to return to the end of the line.  TEAMS MUST reset the fields after the referees set the score and give an all clear.

Teams may park in the main parking lot in front of the school.  All teams should enter through the gym entrance towards the east of the building.  Only registered teams and mentors should be in the pit area during the event, while spectators should remain in the gym to watch the competition.  Only team members, official volunteers, and referees should be on the competition floor.

If the Event Partner cancels/postpones the event: 

• A refund of $95.00 per paid team will be issued should the event be cancelled.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

• No refund will be issued.
