Miami-Dade Make It Happen ADC

Welcome to Miami-Dade Make It Happen ADC for Middle and High School teams. This event will be held at South Miami Senior High School and we are looking to host a fun and educational event. The event will include dedicated alliance matches, solo matches and judging. Happy Flying!

0800-0830: Team Check-in

0830-0845: Equipment inspection, logbook inspection, team interview, Piloting Skills

0900: Opening Remarks-Flight Team Meeting - Match schedule distributed

0930 - 1200: Teamwork Mission, Piloting Skills Mission, Autonomous Flight Mission, and Communications

1200 -1245: Lunch and Questions

      1300 - 1400: Alliance Selection and Elimination Matches

      1415-1445: Award Ceremony

1500: Schools depart to home station

Remote logbooks / In-person interviews:

This event will have remote logbooks and in-person interviews at the event. 

Logbooks are due by 10/18/2026 11:59PM. 

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

We will only cancel the event due to an emergency or bad weather. We will provide as close to a full refund as possible in this extremely unlikely event (certain event funds such as the RECF handling fee must be spent before the event occurs and those will not be refunded). 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Once a team has paid for the event, no refund will be given. Teams who do not pay by the payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist and potentially lose their spot. If special arrangements are made for a team to remain registered for the event after the payment deadline, teams will still be expected to pay in full regardless of whether or not that team attends as we will be unlikely to fill the spot on short notice.
