Highland Prep Drone Event Qualifier
General information
Welcome to Madison Highland Prep's Qualifier!
This will be a fun-filled event with good competition from around the Phoenix area! Doors will open for registration at 8:00 am on Saturday. This is a qualifying event for the Arizona Regional Championship. Teams are expected to submit a physical notebook the morning of the tournament.
It is highly advised that teams either bring their lunch or have someone go get their lunches as there are many food places nearby. We will start qualification matches sharply at the indicated time on the agenda. With the start - teams MUST be at the fields to get to participate or get points for showing up.
All teams should enter through the gym entrance towards the west of the buildings. Only registered teams and mentors should be in the pit area during the event, while spectators should remain in the gym to watch the competition. Only team members, official volunteers, and referees should be on the competition floor.

Judging format
In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews will be judged in-person the day of the event. All notebook submissions will be physical submitted the day of the event.
In Person Team Interviews: Team judged interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Every team gets an interview! Prepare your team by looking over these: Sample Questions. All teams will be asked the same (3-5) questions for the initial interview. Interviews will last no more than 12 minutes giving every team equal access to the judges

Refund policy
If the Event Partner cancels/postpones the event:
- A refund of $80.00 per paid team will be issued should the event be cancelled.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
- No refund will be issued.
