Highland Prep West Drone Qualifier

Highland Prep West will host an Aerial Drone Competition on Saturday January 23, 2027. This will be a qualifying event for the Regional Championship. Regional information will be announced once it has been determined.

• Doors open: 7:45 a.m.
• Team entrance and parking: Park in the East parking lot and enter thru the gym doors to the East.
• Inspection begins: 8:00 a.m.
• Competition begins: No later than 9:00 a.m.

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews will be judged in-person the day of the event. All notebook submissions will be physical submitted the day of the event.

In Person Team Interviews:  Team judged interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Every team gets an interview!  Prepare your team by looking over these: Sample Questions.  All teams will be asked the same (3-5) questions for the initial interview. Interviews will last no more than 12 minutes giving every team equal access to the judges

If the Event Partner cancels/postpones the event: 

• A refund of $80.00 per paid team will be issued should the event be cancelled.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

• No refund will be issued.
