General information

Welcome to our REC Foundation Engage Robotics Competition at Old Town Middle School in Ridgeland, Mississippi! We are excited to welcome your team for a great day of competition, collaboration, and learning.

  • Team interviews will be conducted in person during the event.

  • Engineering notebooks must be submitted digitally using the notebook submission link (TBD).

  • Notebook submission deadline: November 27.

  • Please review the schedule on the Agenda tab and plan to arrive in time for the Team Meeting and robot inspection.

This is a REC Foundation Engage Robotics Competition Qualifying Event. Awards will be presented in accordance with the REC Foundation Engage Robotics Competition judging process and qualification criteria.

Judging format

Team interviews will be conducted in person during the event.

The deadline to submit engineering notebooks is November 27. Late notebook submissions will not be considered for judged awards in accordance with the REC Foundation's judging policies.

Emergency information

The safety of all participants, coaches, volunteers, and spectators is our highest priority. In the event of severe weather, an emergency, or any situation that impacts the schedule or operation of the competition, the EP will communicate important updates directly to the coaches using the contact information provided during team registration. Coaches will be responsible for promptly sharing any updates with their team members and parents. 

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and successful event for everyone.

Refund policy

Registration fees are non-refundable.

Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled by the Event Partner. No refunds will be provided for team withdrawals, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, weather-related travel decisions made by individual teams, or any other circumstances outside the control of the Event Partner. 
By registering for this event, teams acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.
