RECF Solo Remote Matches - Robotics Tournament (Oct. 7)
General information
This is one of many invitational Solo Remote Match events open to registered RECF Achieve Robotics high school teams.
The Robotics Education and Competition Foundation has hosted remote matches like these for the last few seasons, primarily to support our JROTC teams that were isolated or needed additional practice before attending their first in-person competition. This year, we are opening these opportunities to all registered Achieve teams who may be in need.
If there are no Achieve events in your area and you need a remote event, please reach out to your Regional Support Manager. They can recommend your team for this remote invitational event.
Once your team has been recommended, our Event Partner/Staff Member, Nadine, will reach out to determine which event works best with your schedule and get your team invited.
Each registered team will be assigned a dedicated 30-minute competition time slot. During that session, teams may complete up to:
3 Solo Driving Matches
3 Solo Coding Matches
A remote head referee will oversee the competition and score all matches.
Teams are expected to review the current Game Manual before the event and be prepared to comply with all applicable rules and requirements.
Competition time slots will be available between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time (ET).
After registration, teams will receive an email with a link to select their preferred competition time. Please select one preferred time slot per registered team. Time slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment must be received by the September 23 payment deadline.
If space remains available and a team registers after September 23, payment will be due immediately upon registration.
Review the Solo Match Guide and test all required equipment before your scheduled competition time.
Contact the event partner if you have any questions or need assistance.
We look forward to seeing your team compete. Good luck!
