Get ready for a frightfully fun Halloween-themed tournament full of spooky thrills and robotics chills! In addition to the standard tournament awards, we’ll be handing out a special award for the Best Team Costume — so bring your A-game and your best spooky style!

Costumes are encouraged, creativity is rewarded, and fun is guaranteed. Let the haunting (and competing) begin! Keep it spooky — but school rules still apply! No full-face masks or fake weapons allowed.

Team interviews will be in person the day of the event. Engineering notebooks will be online. Notebooks must be uploaded to recf events by 5pm October 9th to be judged.

7 00 am Doors Open, Registration & Inspection begin

8:15 am Opening Ceremonies/Drivers Meeting

8 45am Begin Qualifying Matches, Solo match Field Opens

11:00-11 45pm LUNCH BREAK

11:45 pm Qualifying Matches resume

2:15 pm Alliance Selection

2:30 pm Tournament matches start

4:00-5:00 pm Awards/breakdown/load out

Judging format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date. All notebooks must be submitted by 5pm October 9th.

 

Team Interviews will be team choice walk up style. Teams can choose when to get interviewed as long as interviewed before judging ends.

Refund policy

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

If the tournament is cancelled by the event partner, a full refund minus 5 dollars will be sent via district check. 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If a coach cancels, there are no refunds.
